Luther and Katharina A Novel of Love and Rebellion by Jody Hedlund

Welcome to my book review for Luther and Katharina A Novel of Love and Rebellion by Jody Hedlund.

I have to say I read through this book in record time because I could not put it down. I love history and am interested in the reformation. This is a true story in that Katharina and Luther did mary and how they got to that point with Luther being totally agents getting married.

This book has a lot of research behind it and some part are really sad and some amusing which make it a very interesting read for anyone who like a good romance.

Its way more than a romance though because you have all the perils of living in that era when the catholic church was most powerful and any deviation from what was acceptable was considered heresy and you could end up dead.

One of the reasons that Luther give for not taking a wife is that he is constantly running from people who want to burn him at the stake. Luther thinks its not a good life for a wife but once he meets Katharina he find that he cant live without her.

I really liked this book and recommend it to anyone. I received a free copy so I could make an informed review but my opinions are my own. Be on the look out for this book to be released in october.
