I love my gift from QVC and Vogue Influencer

Just before the holidays Vogue influencer network and QVC gave me such an awesome gift I wanted to tell you about it .I would have posted about this earlier but I have been sooo sick with a flu I could hardly get out of bed.

Anyway I got this lovely Lisa Robertson’s QVC Favorites: bare Minerals Box of Gems 20-piece Color Collection about 10 days before Christmas Making me wish I were attending cosmetology school online

Its really pretty and has so many colors in it that Ill be able to wear a different lip gloss for every day of the week. I also really love the Bare Minerals eye shadows. These are sooo easy to use and really sparkle.

I cant Thank Vogue Influencer network and QVC enough for gifting me this beautiful box of Gems so I could have such a complete collection of both eyeshadow and lip glosses. Thanks Vogue !!!

Goal for it website review what a Fantastic idea

Wow! I just discovered the website called Goalforit. This is an Fantastic tool to use for so many different things. I have so many ideas about how this awesome site can help me and my family and friends reach the goals they set for themselves and their kids.

Each chart is completely customizable and you can set it for different themes. You can also totally customize the goals for a daily basis and it turns a list of chores into a workable, fun, interactive log to track progress and earn rewards. This would be so much fun for kids to do, all you have to do is set one up with the different chores you want your kids or teens to accomplish daily.

You can put anything in the chart you want from making the bed to walking the dog. This is whats totally different - Each time your Child completes a task they can go online to check the box that they did it (or if you print them off they can do this off line too)

The nice thing about doing this online is you have the ability to incorporate a point value for rewards for each task thats done. Than once they have enough points in their bank your kids are able to pick a reward you set to spend the points on. You do not have to set up a reward bank for the tasks but I think it would be a really fun idea because it will allow kids to earn their allowance and see the progress they are making toward something they want such as Itunes gift card or something.It also teaches them about saving points and cashing out of point to get the earned reward !

The best thing about this is its totally free to use!

I also discovered you can do a lot more on goalforit than just chore lists, you can set one up for yourself too so you can track your progress on any kind of goals you set for yourself. Some great ideas would be for weight loss,eating right ,exercise, recycling practices and more the list is really endless and you can keep track of how well you are doing at a glance with the progress tab. Lets say you want to start a healthy lifestyle this year. just set up your chose list to include the tasks exercise for 15 mins

take vitamins

eat 3 servings of vegetables

eat under 2000 calories each day

drink 8 glasses of water

than for each day you manage to do each task you would check that it was done and keep track of your progress in a really fun way.

Also The fast & easy way to get organized is to make yourself a to do list so you can prioritise any day of the week with the things you have to get done. you really need to have a look at what Goalforit has to offer with making a Chore Chart

Phix Energy Drink review and giveaway

I was able to try Phix Energy drink recently as the company had sent me a box to try that had 3 different flavours in its I could review it for you. What I found was that Phix Energy is great tasting and provides you will a boatload of energy to stay active and focused. These easy to cary around packets and a Cinch to add to a bottle of watter while on the go. Children's Claritin allergy relief for the Kiddos

I was able to try Children's claritin recently for my 4 grand kids who have problems with seasonal allergies especially in the spring and the fall. I think this is a superior product for treating allergies in small kids because its does not make the feel tired or sleepy.

The problem with a lot of allergy medications are the sleepy side effects. What good is it to treat an allergy so kids can go out in the day and play if they are to sleepy to concentrate or have any kind of desire to run around in the outdoors. Children's Claritin will take care of the sneezing and watery eyes and other nasty symptoms of seasonal allergies,so kids can get back to the business of being kids.

These easy to take melt in your mouth tablets are awesome tasting and provide your child with the relief they need to get on with there day yet still concentrate on what they are doing. No matter if its a play day out doors or a school test you can be confident that just the symptoms of the allergies will be taken care of not your child ability to be active and focused.

I have learned so much since joining the Children's Claritin Mom Crew and was able to pass all that awesome information to my Daughters. The great thing about being a Grandmother is our daughter's and sons who are newer parents depend on us to answer questions about caring for there little ones. What grandparent has not received that frantic call for what to do about one thing or another regarding the Grandkids.

As with all medications, you need to talk to your pediatrician before giving it to the Kiddos. make sure your doctor knows what you want to accomplish with the claritin to be sure its right for you. Awesome FREE Kindle books today Nice selection !

Here is the main page for the free Kindle books , this one lists the top 100 BUT their are many more . I had gotten some exceptional Christian Non Fiction books a while ago from amazon That I would recomend to any one . The Titles are a bit weird but gosh the wisdom you can get out of these is spectacular . so here are those 2 first.

Purex Crystals and Jockey review and giveaway

Everyone Knows how much I love Purex crystals. If you have not had a chance to try these yet you should give them a try because they really go a long way to keeping your laundry fresh smelling.

Now fabric softener
work great for regular clothing to keep them soft fresh and static free, But when you wash your wicking sports wear or towels you may want to add the Purex crystals and not the softer. Now why is that you may ask , well adding a fabric softener to wicking wear or towels is just counter productive. The fabric softener
makes it so fabric is way less absorbent.

I know I have, especially with those microfiber towels or wash cloths the water just beads off and its very hard to get them to do the job that they were designed to do.This is because fabric softener will put a coating on the item and ,by its nature make it less absorbent.

Now we all want our towels and clothes to be fresh and clean especially our sometimes stinky sports wear. This creates a bit of a dilemma , how do I get freshness but not the softening. Purex has come out with the answer in their fabric crystals. These great crystals freshen clothes and towels with out diminishing their ability to absorb moisture.

I was able to try this by receiving a Jockey sports Bra
and some purex crystals from purex insiders, In the awesome new scent of tropical Splash, I really pretty scent! Using the Purex crystals with you sports wear like Jockey will help the items stay fresh but also do the job they were intended to do by keeping you dry .

Jockey Makes an awesome line of work out wear and sports wear with Wicking properties and even a secret place to keep a house key. Unfortunately I received the wrong size Jog Bra and was not able to test the wicking abilities out to much because it was really tight. I am a 36 B, and because of the sizing chart I ordered a medium size . This will not work and I would need a large, and should have ordered that, but the medium was supposed to fit to a 38. I did not find this to be the case so be sure you order bigger,if you decide to give the bra a try. The medium felt like a small and I had real trouble getting it back off once it was on LOL.

anyway I sure hope you give the new Purex Crystals a try for any sports wear and towels you have. you will see it really is way more efficient using the crystals for these items and skipping the softener. for 20% off Jockey sports Bra

Book review When The Soul Mends By Cindy Woodsmall

When the Soul Mends: A Novel by Cindy Woodsmall

I was able to read When the Soul Mends by Cindy Woodsmall, through blogging for books. This is the second novel in the set and its a really good book. I loved these 2 novels but this second one really has everything working out nicely. In the first novel their is a lot of tragedy and heartbreak. In When the Soul Mends, we get to see the characters grow up in both faith and love.
I just loved the whole story! I loved all the characters and the way that the story its self was extremely uplifting.

The story starts where it left of in the first book. Hanna has started a new life away from her old order Amish family. She is content in her new life but when she finds out that a tragedy occurred in her hometown she is compelled to return to the people and place she had run from.

Hannah refuses to let anyone intimidate her and her new found confidence and deeper faith help her through the many problems she finds when she returns.
This is truly a great story and I would encourage you to read the first book titled When the Heart Cries because it will give you the necessary background into Hannah's story.
When the Soul Mends shows us how even the wrong decisions will still work out the way the Lord wants it to and no matter how much we may mess thing us in our lives, God is still in charge and can fix it. This is a fantastic story of Faith, love, and forgiveness. I would and do recomend these books to anyone, they are fantastic reading .
