Book review Healing Hearts By Beth Wiseman

Healing Hearts: A Collection of Amish RomancesHealing Hearts: A Collection of Amish Romances by Beth Wiseman

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I just finished my digital copy of Healing Hearts By Beth Wiseman a collection of Amish Romances.

Wow, I just loved this book each story is very different and just filled with inspiring drama and romance. I have read a lot of Amish Romances, though never had the opportunity to read such a nice collection. You have 3 separate stories each one a really nice length and not hurried in any way.

These actually gave me a feel of reading 3 different novels because so much happens in each story.

Healing Hearts by Beth Wiseman offers the reader not only an authentic glimpse into the Amish culture but also makes each person in each story so very real.

In the first story, A choice to forgive-we meet Lydia many years ago Daniel, the man she was supposed to marry up and left the community to live with the English leaving only a note on Christmas eve says he would always love her. Broken hearted Lydia was comforted by Daniel's brother Elam and they ended up marring. Now a Widow Lydia comes face to face with Daniel as he has come back to town. This is a truly wonderful story of forgiveness, love, and Heartbreak. You find out why sometimes even the best intentions for keeping secrets can lead to life changing consequences. This is truly unique story thats exceptionally uplifting and faith affirming.A must read

In the second story, A Change of Heart we meet Leah. Not your typical Amish girl Leah cant cook, sew or do anything to try and prepare for eventual marriage. She does not want to get married and only wants to write her stories so that by her words she may lead people to faith in Christ. Her family, however, is not sympathetic to her wishes and tries to encourage her to think about marriage and her future, Leah will have none of this until she starts seeing Aaron. At first Leah sees him so she can have someone read her work, she has no desire for a courtship. Leah's family especially her father despairs of her ever settling down. They do not understand why she spends so much time writing and not learning the skills she will meed to be a good Amish wife

I loved this story its really went together nicely and I loved all the characters. This was a joy to read, making me laugh out loud and at times bring a tear to my eyes altogether a very uplifting story .

The last Story Healing Hearts we meet Levina Lapp. Levina was abandoned by her husband for a year and she had to struggle both in faith and work to keep up her household and carry on with life .Being a mother of 5 grown children she has a lot of support but missed her husband terribly.

When her husband Naaman comes back home begging for her forgiveness, Levina wonders how will she ever trust him with her heart again. Neeman does not know what made him leave his home and family and he is regretful and ashamed. Both husband and wife have a long way to go to heal hearts both between themselves and their children.

This story was my favorite of the 3 stories. I could identify with Levina and her heartbreak and how difficult it would be to trust again and allow her husband back into her heart. I loved how because their faith in Christ, and love for each other, it lead them to a new stage in life better than what came before.

This is a very uplifting story that shows that forgiveness and faith can make even really bad situations completely whole again. A lot of stuff happens in this story and it has many levels. I just loved it and I know you will too.

Bottom line is all these fantastic stories will greatly help you in your faith and walk with Christ.I would recommend this collection to anyone and will as I now recomend it to you thanks for reading my review of Healing Hearts by Beth Wiseman

Florida Tourism Fort Matanzas Historical monument

Fort Matanzas Is a small fort situated in the middle of the ST Augustine river and you can only get there by ferry. Tours and reenactments are always available because of the forts rich history in protecting this southern river approach.

The area was important even before the fort was built. The first conflict goes back to 1565, the year of the founding of St. Augustine and almost 175 years before the construction of Fort Matanzas. The park is situated near the site of the killing of nearly 250 French Huguenots by the Spanish, an act that gave gave the river and inlet the name Matanzas, Spanish for "slaughters", as European nations fought for control of the New World.

One hundred seventy-five years later, the small watchtower fort was constructed to help protect St. Augustine from a new threat - the British.
You can tour the fort and the surrounding park as I have done may times. You will see a really nice foot path made of wood that is really nice for viewing the fort from afar and taking pictures of interesting Florida wild life.
If you are looking to visit a Florida area Steeped in history you should stop by the Matanzas fort and maybe take in a reenactment for fun.I think this is an excellent site to bring the kids as they will learn about a little known fort that was essential for guarding the river from may invaders and conflicts over 100s of years.

I hope if you decide to visit Florida you will stop at this historic site where many battles were fought to protect the town and in citizens. Each day you can ferry to the small island fort or walk around through the wooded path to see if from shore. Its a fantastic tourist destination for anyone interested in early American history and culture - Thanks for reading. For more info click here

Im so in love with my Clarisonic Plus system

I can now see why when I had posted about other devices I was getting comments like I love my Clarisonic!
I had tried others and thought they were good but now I see why everyone loves these. The Clarisonic I got to try from the Vogue Influencer network is truly awesome and I am a true believer now. I can really see the difference between what I was using and my new Clarisonic! My face feels so fresh and clean and my skin care creams work so much better.

Product review Fiber one 80 cal cereal-very tasty

I was able to try the New Fiber one 80 cal cereal recently and I have to say I love the flavor, for a fiber cereal its fantastic and for a low cal cereal its awesome, if you want more fiber that tastes great but have less calories you should give it a try. I have a few 1.00 off coupons I would be willing to sent to you so you can try this awesome cereal. first come first served on the coupons as I have 2 left to give out. here is some great info I found out about Fiber in general
10 Tips to Get your Daily Fiber
Most Americans are not getting the recommended 25 grams of fiber each day. With Fiber One cereal, it's easier than ever to increase your daily fiber intake. Try using these 10 simple tips to help reach your fiber goals.

1) Scan for Bran
Look for “bran,” “whole grain” and “whole wheat” on product packages and ingredient labels. These ingredients can help boost fiber intake.

¾ cup Fiber One® 80 Calories = 10g fiber

2) Grab the Whole Food
Munch on a whole piece of fruit in place of drinking a glass of juice. You’ll get the nutrients and the fiber too.

1 medium apple = 3g fiber

3) Savor the Skins
Eat fruit and vegetables with the skin on. Eating the skin helps to bump up the fiber, plus it provides texture and a bonus of other nutrients.

1 medium baked potato with skin on = 4g fiber

4) Screen for Beans
Replace your typical side dishes with high-fiber dried peas and beans, such as kidney, pinto, lentils or black-eyed peas. These fiber-packed legumes make it easier to meet daily fiber goals.

½ cup canned red kidney beans = 8g fiber

5) Go Nuts
Jazz up salads, vegetables, snacks and desserts with almonds, sunflower seeds or soy nuts. Nuts and seeds add fiber and fun-to-chew crunch to foods.

1 ounce roasted almonds = 3g fiber

6) Be Berry Wild
Choose raspberries, blackberries and boysenberries to add variety to your cereals. These berries have twice the fiber of many other fruit selections.

½ cup fresh raspberries = 4g fiber

7) Bring on the Brown
Use brown rice instead of white. Switch to whole wheat pasta, whole wheat flour, whole wheat breads and whole grain crackers instead of regular white versions.

1 cup brown rice = 3g fiber

8) Skip the Chips
Select snacks that are a good source of fiber. Instead of potato chips, go for low-fat popcorn, whole-grain pretzels or oven-crisped whole-wheat pita triangles.

3 cups popcorn = 4g fiber

9) Drink Up
Water is a healthy beverage choice—especially as you up the fiber. Your body needs more water to help process the added fiber you eat.

Aim for eight 8-oz glasses of water each day.

10) Sneak in Some Fiber One cereal
Incorporate Fiber One cereal into your favorite side dishes or use to top yogurt, salads or oatmeal.

¼ cup Fiber One Original cereal for sprinkling = 7g fiber

Thanks for reading my review I got to try this great product through PssssT

Product review Vi-Shape by ViSalus Sciences -shake mix

I was able to try 2 packs of the Vi-Shape by ViSalus Sciences shake mixes recently and I wanted to write a review for them. First I really liked the creamy taste. The nice thing is, you can add all kinds of things to these to make your own smoothies. You can really get creative with them.
I actually had mine in my morning coffee, I use the shake mix in place of my creamer and sugar. I really liked it, it was sweet and creamy and kept me full all day long. I also had a lot more energy than I normally do in the morning after drinking it, and I stayed fuller longer.
The next thing I want to say is I noticed that these are not only very reasonably priced, they are more nutritious that what I was using, yet about the same price. I am always looking for shake mixes and energy bars that have a nice high Protein percentage. I use to work for a weight loss clinic and one of the secrets to loosing weight is to increase protein and decrease carbs. We use to put or customers on a cleansing diet of red meat and vegetables for a week before starting the regular program to kick in metabolism. Because Vi-Shape by ViSalus Sciences has 12g of protein and only 7 g of carbs its a great way to rev up the metabolism. These also provides you with a really nice 5 g of fiber. At only 90 cals a serving I think these shakes will make a wonderful addition to any weight loss plan you are on. I only got to try 2 packets but after reading the product materials and having a taste test I would recomend them to anyone on a diet or for someone who wants to maintain there healthy weight.

I hope you check out the web site and Think about giving Vi-Shape by ViSalus Sciences a try. Thanks for reading my review. Here is a link
