Tropical Island Chex Party Mix review

Welcome to my review for a great new holiday Chex mix recipe called Tropical Island Chex Party Mix. This is really different and so good its also really easy to make. I was sent all the items I would need to make this through Plateful co-op formally myblogspark and I have to say its is such a tasty treat. I think the Tropical Island Chex Party Mix would also make for really nice gifts this season if you got some nice glass jars to put it in.

First its so easy to make here is what you need 8 cups rice chex cereal

1 cup shredded coconut

1 cup dried banana chips

one package dried tropical fruit mix

one jar 3 oz macadamia nuts

3 table spoons butter

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup frozen thawed pineapple juice. These are the Microwave instructions In a bowl mix cereal, coconut, banana chips, fruit mix and nuts

in a Microwave measuring cup microwave butter for about 30 secs stir in the brown sugar and pineapple juice , microwave for another 30 secs until hot. Pour over cereal mixture and stir to blend evenly microwave for about 6 to 8 mins but stop it to stir abut ever 2 mins. Take the mixture and spread it on wax paper or foil and let it sit to cool than store it in a jar. This recipe makes 20 servings.
